Hey y’all! I’m super excited that y’all have decided to follow along on this crazy adventure that I am about to embark on! I’m so excited to share why I’m going on the world race, and what we are going to be doing there.
As many of you know, I was all set and ready to go to Grand Canyon University in Arizona. But the Lord had different plans for me. I did not know what to major in and did not see the point in spending a ton of money each year on college when I did not even know what to major in. I know I could have gone and switched majors, but I did not love that idea. I prayed about what to do and I started looking at gap year programs. A few years back, about sophomore year of high school, I wanted to do World Race and work with kids, but always thought that college was the next step for everybody. As I started looking at the World Race, I just got so excited even though I wasn’t signed up yet. It slowly turned to where I didn’t want to go to GCU anymore, but I really wanted to do World Race. Once I signed up, I told my friend who had just gotten back from doing a gap year with YWAM. She told me she was just talking to a friend about how much I would love to do a long-term mission trip. Honestly, when she told me that it was shocking, but it was also like confirmation that the Lord was leading me in this direction.
Since I chose to do this I will be leaving in January to go serve in Eswatini and South Africa! Whoop whoop!
We will be sharing the gospel, teaching English, service projects, evangelism, and many other things! I’m so excited to spread the love and joy Jesus brings to me to others! I fully believe that the Lord will walk with me every step of the way and will help me get fully fundraised by the time I leave!
Some prayer requests that I have is that God will fully prepare me and the team that I’m going with to spread the gospel in Africa, for me to get fully funded, and that he will calm any nerves that I have before going on this trip! Thank you guys for coming alongside me and supporting me! I truly am so so thankful for you all!
Love you guys so much!!
Blessings,
Molly Randall
